SEN Support Staff Vacancies

Strategy Education are working with a special school close to Colchester, Essex who are recruiting for learning support assistants and teaching assistants.

• Learning support assistants will be working on a one-to-one basis with students.
• Teaching Assistants will be covering the class in the absence of the teacher and assisting them throughout the day.

The school is a specialist school for children aged 4 18 who have needs associated with Autism.

The pupils are extremely well supported with onsite therapists, a tailored curriculum and varied activities.

The school is well resourced and situated on a large, rural site with outdoor space for the pupils and the opportunity to take part in a variety of outdoor and indoor activities to enrich their learning experience.

The learning support assistants will have the opportunity to join a welcoming and experienced team.

Successful candidates will have experience wokring with children with Autism and related additional needs.

The roles are full time and will start in September 2025.

There is the possibility of a permanent contract after working for a period of time through Strategy Education.
