Job summary

Frogmore Junior School in Camberley is seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join a hardworking and dedicated team. You will work with whole classes, small intervention groups and on a one-to-one basis to support our children to access the curriculum and receive excellent educational opportunities.

We are looking for an adaptable, flexible, and resourceful individual who shares the same passion for learning as the school team and strives to seek excellence in every day.

Qualifications

• Dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with young children.
• Stay calm and objective when faced with challenging behaviour.
• Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team, including with outside agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support children to access the curriculum across whole classes, small intervention groups and 1:1 sessions.
• Assist with intervention groups and targeted support.
• Collaborate with outside agencies and colleagues to ensure every child reaches their potential.

The Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Salary: Associate 2.2 £23,707 FTE
• Actual Salary: £18,616
• Hours: 32.5 hrs per week 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday (39 weeks Term Time + INSET)
