This fulfilling role offers a competitive annual salary between £18,500 to £20,500 and is set to start ASAP, from September 2025, or following the successful candidate s notice period.

Responsibilities of the Learning Support Assistant (LSA):

• Work closely with class teachers to support students in their learning.
• Deliver small group interventions and provide one-to-one support where needed.
• Assist students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring their individual needs are met.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment across the school.
• Support students academic and emotional development with patience and resilience.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Requirements of the Learning Support Assistant (LSA):

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting, or transferable skills from roles such as youth work, social work, or pastoral care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A resilient, adaptable, and caring nature.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
