About Us
Right2Work seeks a Learning Support Assistant to support the Future Choices programme, aimed at enabling individuals to make life choices, focusing on young people and adults transitioning into employment, further education, and personal development.
The programme offers classroom and community activities, tailored guidance, skill-building, and real-world work experience to foster confidence, independence, and employability skills.
The role involves supporting individuals with skills development, liaising with learners and employers, and supporting independence and potential achievement.
The Role
Work three days a week at our offices in Barrow. Experience is not required as full training is provided. The role involves supporting tasks such as observations, creating prompts, checklists, task analysis, supporting communication and interview skills, and travel training.
You will help with skills, qualifications, job matching, and liaising with learners and employers to support independence and growth. Tasks include working 1:1 with learners, group work, travel training, and working with employers and training providers.
The Candidate
We seek individuals with good organization, self-motivation, and determination to support success. Passion, commitment, and shared values about employment opportunities for disabled and disadvantaged people are essential. A full driving license and vehicle are required, along with an Enhanced DBS check (paid for by Right2Work).
