Job summary

GLF Schools is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join Warren Mead Schools, a cluster of primaries in Banstead. You will support the class teacher in delivering learning activities and run interventions for groups or individuals, with training provided.

The role is term-time, 30 hours per week, with a start ASAP. FTE salary £24,751; pro rata £17,744.28; pay range GLF Associate Grade 2.1. Closing date 2 November 2026; DBS required.

Your opportunity

The successful candidate will support the class teacher in the delivery of learning and teaching activities. You will be assisting the teacher in the classroom and within small groups or for individual children, running interventions. Training will be provided to help undertake these responsibilities where needed.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual who will be passionate about children's learning, development, and welfare. Individuals who can assist in preparing the classroom, support the children and teacher with professionalism. Experience working within education would be desirable, however, the successful candidate will be able evidence their understanding of the role through their application and interview.

The Details

Start Date:ASAP

FTE Salary: £24,751

Pro Rata Salary: £17,744.28

Pay Range: GLF Associate Grade 2.1

Hours: 30hrs a week - Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3pm (Term time 39 weeks)
