Job summary

London Teaching Pool, Ltd is recruiting two Learning Support Assistants for a welcoming primary school in Aveley, Year 1. You will provide focused 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND, including ASD and speech and language difficulties, while assisting the class teacher and contributing to an inclusive classroom.

The role is long-term, offering stability for an LSA who is passionate about helping children access learning and develop socially and academically in a supportive school

Qualifications

• Experienced in working with children in a primary school setting.
• Confident supporting pupils with SEND, including ASD.
• Experienced or confident supporting children with speech and language difficulties.
• Reliable, patient and nurturing.
• Able to build positive relationships with children.

The successful candidates will work within a Year 1 classroom, supporting pupils with high levels of SEND, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and speech and language difficulties, while also providing general classroom support.
