Job summary

The King Edmund School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a part-time basis to support pupils with additional needs. The role involves working with teachers to help students access the curriculum, develop independence and social skills, and monitor progress.

You will contribute to supervision during breaks and lunchtime, attend meetings for professional development, and uphold school policies with confidentiality.

Qualifications

Learning Support Assistant Actual Salary: £14,006 Contract type: Part-time | Permanent |25 hours per week |42.8 weeks per year Monday to Friday 08:10 to 14:10 Closing date: Midday on Tuesday 15 September 2026 Interview dates: Shortly following the closing date The Role Are you passionate about making a difference to young people? You'll play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs, working closely with teachers to help every student thrive.
