Job summary

Teach South Sussex are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Littlehampton from September. The role covers Reception to Year 3 in both the SEN Centre and mainstream classrooms, helping children access learning and build confidence to reach their potential.

The position runs full-time from September to December, with potential extension for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting, or SEN experience.
• A patient, caring and positive approach to supporting young learners.
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Confidence supporting children with a range of additional learning needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils from Reception to Year 3, working both within the school's dedicated SEN Centre and in mainstream classrooms. You'll play a key role in helping children with additional needs to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.
