Job summary

Instinct Resourcing is partnering with a leading learning and development organisation to recruit a Learning Solutions Consultant. The role blends design credibility with client-facing delivery, translating initial briefings into tailored learning solutions.

You will design blended learning interventions, lead workshops, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable impact for international programmes.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial awareness and consulting skills to identify client needs and evaluate learning interventions.
• Experience creating and managing blended learning solutions.
• Deep knowledge of experiential learning approaches; design engaging activities (simulations, role-plays, scenario-based exercises).
• Proven expertise in creating leadership development initiatives for complex, international programmes.
• Customer-facing learning and development experience in a commercial or consultancy setting.
• Ability to manage learning projects from concept to delivery, including planning, consultation and requirements gathering.

Travel: Hybrid with 2 days per week on-site in London (flexible if further afield)

We're working with a successful learning and development organisation that has built a strong reputation as one of the best providers of leadership, change management and commercial upskilling for organisations around the world. They work with all kinds of industries across the private, public and third sectors, and help them navigate the fast-changing commercial landscape.

They're looking to bring on board a motivated Learning Solutions Consultant with learning design credibility and commercial awareness. The ideal person will have come from a hands-on Learning Design background and have progressed into a client-facing role with an ability to understand client needs and guide requirements from first conversation to final solution.

What you'll need:

Key Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial awareness and consulting skills, with the ability to identify client needs, evaluate the business value of learning interventions and understand the wider challenges facing organisations.
• Must have experience creating and managing blended learning solutions
• Extensive knowledge of experiential learning approaches, with experience designing engaging activities such as simulations, role-play, scenario-based exercises and interactive group experiences. A creative mindset and enthusiasm for developing innovative learning methods are essential.
• Proven expertise in creating leadership development initiatives, including integrated learning strategies for complex, international programmes.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing learning and development position, ideally within a commercial or consultancy environment.
• Ability to manage learning projects from initial concept through to delivery, including solution planning, consultation, requirements gathering and the development of tailored learning interventions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working alongside senior leaders through consultations, interviews, workshops, presentations and design discussions. The ability to explain and defend design decisions constructively is also required.
• Comfortable working with evolving requirements and incomplete briefs, with the ability to turn initial ideas into clear, practical and effective learning solutions.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative approach, building effective working relationships across immediate teams and the wider business.
• Genuine enthusiasm for learning and development, with a focus on creating engaging learner experiences that deliver measurable value for organisations.
