Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Learning and Skills Site Co-ordinator to provide a key onsite presence across two sites in Leiston and Ipswich, supporting the learning and skills activities within a fast-paced, regulated nuclear industry environment.

Acting as the main point of contact for learners, instructors and stakeholders, the role will coordinate and resolve onsite training queries, support training delivery and logistics, liaise between onsite and central teams, and help ensure a positive learner

Qualifications

  • Full driving licence required.
  • Experience in learning, training and skills development support roles.
  • Experience working in regulated/compliance-based environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management across multiple teams and priorities.
  • Confident working independently in a visible onsite role.
  • Strong face-to-face communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience supporting training delivery, coordination and learner engagement.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
  • Experience liaising with trainers, learners and operational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary onsite contact for learning and skills queries.
  • Coordinate and oversee learning activities across two sites.
  • Identify, manage and resolve issues affecting training delivery.
  • Liaise with learners, instructors, trainers and key stakeholders.
  • Support the smooth running of onsite training sessions, including room setup and logistics.
  • Provide on-the-day support to facilitators and learners.
  • Troubleshoot training delivery issues and elevate where required.
  • Follow up on delayed or outstanding learning activities.
  • Support learner engagement and provide guidance on pathways.
  • Liaise between onsite and central learning teams to ensure service delivery.

Job title: Learning and Skills Site Co-ordinator

Job Type: Contract

Start date: Immediate

Duration: Up to Dec 2026 (Rolling 12 month contract)

Pay rate: Up to £26.01 per hour PAYE, £35.35 per hour Umbrella

Location: Leiston / Ipswich

Hours of work: 5 days on site, across 2 locations

The Learning and Skills Site Co-ordinator will provide a key onsite presence across two sites in Leiston and Ipswich, supporting the smooth delivery of learning and skills activities within a fast-paced, regulated nuclear industry environment. Acting as the main point of contact for learners, instructors and stakeholders, the role will coordinate and resolve onsite training queries, support training delivery and logistics, liaise between onsite and central teams, and help ensure a positive learner experience. The position requires strong stakeholder management, organisation, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and influence across multiple teams.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:
  • Hold a full driver's licence
  • Experience in learning, training and skills development support roles
  • Experience working within regulated or compliance-based environments
  • Strong stakeholder management across multiple teams and competing priorities
  • Confident working independently in a visible onsite role
  • Strong face-to-face communication and customer service skills
  • Experience supporting training delivery, coordination and learner engagement
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and issue-resolution skills
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) - essential
  • Ability to influence and navigate without formal authority
  • Experience managing competing demands within fast-paced environments
  • Experience liaising with trainers, learners, operational teams and wider stakeholders
  • Relevant Learning & Development, Training, Skills or Project Management qualification advantageous
  • Relevant experience within the nuclear, engineering, construction or other regulated industries advantageous
Role information:

  • Provide feedback and suggest improvements to learning processes and learner experience.
  • Maintain strong relationships across operational, technical training and People Development teams.
  • Support the use and effective operation of Learning Management Systems.
  • Manage competing priorities and resolve issues within a complex, multi-team environment.
  • Represent the learning function onsite and ensure a positive learner experience.
