Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND or lower attainment is desirable.
• Ability to work within a team and follow school policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in planning teaching and learning activities.
• Provide support to individuals and groups on teacher planned activities.
• Contribute to the implementation of an effective behaviour management strategy.
• Develop positive relationships with parents, carers and families and share information appropriately.
• Support pupils' health and well-being and safeguarding in line with policies.
• Prepare learning resources and ensure materials are ready for use, minimising hazards.
• Support literacy and numeracy development and provide feedback to pupils.
