Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a Learning Support Assistant / Learning Mentor for Ardleigh Green. This temporary role involves one-to-one and small-group support across various curriculum areas, helping learners build confidence and independent learning skills, while assisting staff to create an inclusive environment.

The position is based at Ardleigh Green and requires safeguarding awareness, excellent communication, and a willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

Experience supporting learners in school or community settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students across curriculum areas.
Support learners to develop confidence, motivation, organisation and independence.
Assist teaching staff in creating an inclusive learning environment.
Encourage positive behaviour, attendance and participation in lessons.
Help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve goals.
Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to staff.
Promote safeguarding and learner wellbeing at all times.
Support students with additional learning needs while encouraging independence.
