GSL Education is in search of a Learning Mentor to fill a post at one of our client Primary Schools in Sheffield.

Job summary:

• Act as a positive role model and build trusting relationships with students.
• Offer guidance and advice on educational and personal issues.
• Help students set and achieve personal and academic goals.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group mentoring to students.
• Support students with academic, social, and emotional challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized learning plans.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
• Monitor and track student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to address student needs.

The successful candidate will:

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant qualifications in education or a related field (preferred).
