Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Learning Mentor in Bodmin to support students who have faced challenges in mainstream education. This full-time, long-term role focuses on community-based learning to build self-esteem, coping strategies and re-engage students academically.

Responsibilities include re-engagement in class, leading community learning visits, collaborating with families and agencies, and delivering targeted interventions across primary or secondary phases.

Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English at least C/4 in both subjects.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle is essential.
• Experience with SEMH, SEN, or vulnerable youth is highly valued.
• Excellent communication, patience, empathy and strong behaviour management capabilities.
