Job summary

Exmouth Community College, part of the Ted Wragg Trust, is seeking a Learning Mentor for a 30-hour post within the Learning Support team. Mentors assist students across key stages, both in and out of classrooms, and help with small-group work and individual support.

Experience with students who have special educational needs and disabilities is welcome, and an interest in a career in support is considered. Commitment to the college and its students is essential.

Job description

A 30-hour Learning Mentor post in the Learning Support team at Exmouth Community College, part of the Ted Wragg Trust. The team has around 25 Learning Mentors, managed by Assistant SENDCos and Senior Learning Mentors on a day-to-day basis. Mentors support students in and out of the classroom, helping them make academic progress across all key stages, including small group work and support for individual students. Experience with students who have special educational needs and disabilities is welcome, though an interest in a career in support is also considered.
