Job summary

Alder Community High School is seeking a Learning Manager to ensure continuity of learning when teachers are absent and to support students to stay focused and engaged in a positive learning environment.

You will supervise classes across different subjects and year groups, deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom dynamics, support behaviour and welfare, and maintain accurate attendance and behaviour records. You will collaborate with colleagues to promote high standards of learning.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and students.
• Experience supporting learning in a school environment.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic classroom and maintain high standards.
