Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Global Learning Experience Designer for a leading global consulting organisation, with 1 day onsite per week in London, UK. This contract through year-end with potential extensions is Inside IR35.

You will design practical, behaviourally-driven learning experiences that help employees develop capabilities and apply them in their day-to-day roles, collaborating with stakeholders across a global organisation to drive performance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing engaging, behaviourally driven learning programmes.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and LXD principles.
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools for learning design.
• Storytelling and critical thinking to transform content into learning experiences.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and balancing perspectives.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept through delivery.
• Experience with Articulate 360/Rise and SCORM content.
• Experience working with LMS and global cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

This position requires 1 day onsite per week in London, UK for a contract through end of year with potential extensions and is classified as Inside IR35.

The successful candidate will support the design and development of engaging, practical, and behaviourally impactful learning experiences that help employees build critical capabilities and apply them confidently in their day-to-day roles. Working closely with stakeholders across a global organisation, you will translate complex concepts into compelling learning solutions that drive meaningful performance outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Assess learner needs and business objectives to identify capability gaps and recommend effective learning solutions.
• Translate broad or evolving requirements into clear learning strategies and actionable deliverables.
• Design engaging learning experiences using practical examples, storytelling techniques, and learner-centred design principles.
• Develop learning interventions that support performance improvement, feedback reflection, and development planning.
• Create a range of learning solutions including eLearning, instructor-led training, virtual workshops, microlearning, and performance support resources.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to support content creation while ensuring quality, accuracy, and instructional design best practices.
• Develop prototypes and learning concepts, incorporating stakeholder feedback to improve effectiveness.
• Analyse existing materials and collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality learning programmes.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure learning solutions align with business objectives.
• Manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously, maintaining quality standards and delivery timelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience designing engaging, behaviourally driven learning programmes that turn complex topics into practical application.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and learning experience design principles.
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools for learning design and content development, with the ability to critically evaluate and refine outputs.
• Strong storytelling and critical thinking skills, with the ability to transform content into clear and compelling learning experiences.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and balancing multiple perspectives while maintaining learning quality.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept through delivery.
• Experience working with digital learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Rise.
• Experience developing SCORM-compliant learning content and working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Ability to work effectively within global, cross-functional teams and drive collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.
