Job summary

Southdown is seeking a Bank Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities at Bradbury Court, Storrington, West Sussex. You will help clients access the community and support them with daily living tasks, promoting independence and confidence in a caring, stable environment.

This zero-hours role offers full training, DBS checks paid by Southdown, and a rewarding opportunity to work with a not-for-profit housing, care and support provider across Sussex.

Qualifications

• A patient, empathetic mindset.
• Willingness to complete relevant training in health and social care, moving and handling, safeguarding and safety protocols.
• Happy to support clients with intimate and personal care needs.
• Live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.
• An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check paid by Southdown.
• Physically fit and able to push a wheelchair, take long walks and assist with bathing.
