Job summary

We Change Lives is seeking a Female Learning Disability Support Worker to assist residents at Guernsey House and Park Drive in Northwest England. You’ll provide personal care, help with daily living tasks, and support residents’ hobbies and community engagement in a warm, respectful environment.

Training and qualifications are provided on the job; Makaton experience and a full UK driving licence are beneficial.

• Interest in engaging residents' hobbies and community activities.
• On-the-job training and qualifications provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to residents at Guernsey House and Park Drive.

• Work as part of a supportive team to ensure resident comfort and dignity.

Female Learning Disability Support Worker

Guernsey House is home to 4 women in their 20s who each use wheelchairs, one of which is non-verbal and communicates with Makaton, and they all have a shared passion for fashion, beauty, shopping, and coffee trips. Then, Park Drive is home to two men and a lady with diverse needs who each enjoy a range of hobbies and engage in their local community. We're seeking team members who can share in these individuals' passions and provide support with a keen sense of fun and motivation.

• Full Time Hours ( Days ) 1 x 42 hours per week
• Salary - £12.71 Days
