Job description

Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker

Location: Kendal, Cumbria

Salary: £12.60 per hour

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time and Part Time

About us:

Independence Support Ltd (ISL) operate a supported living service in Kendal, Cumbria. The facility offers bespoke accommodation in the form of self-contained units with communal areas.

About the role:

The service supports individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, providing personal care, and promoting social inclusion.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Experience in a similar role or working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  4. Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals with learning disabilities.
