Job summary

The role involves comprehensive assessments, care planning, and delivering holistic care to people with learning disabilities across HMP Ashfield and Leyhill.

Qualifications

• Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) binding requirement.
• Ability to develop and implement care plans for learning disabilities in a prison setting.
• Competence in delivering evidence-based, person-centred care with supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care for people with learning disabilities in a custodial setting.
• Manage a caseload with supervision and progress toward Band 6 competencies.
• Contribute to safeguarding, medicines management and risk management processes.
