Job summary

BCUHB North Wales is seeking a Band 7/8a Clinical Psychologist for a development post based with the Conwy Community Learning Disability Team. The role involves direct and indirect client work, supervision of colleagues and service development within Learning Disability services.

Qualifications

• Good Honours degree in Psychology; eligibility for Chartered status with the BPS.
• HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality psychological input to clients directly and via supervision.
• Deliver adapted talking therapies, behavioural and systems-based interventions.
• supervise trainees and contribute to teaching and research activities.
• Work with multidisciplinary colleagues to optimise service delivery.
