Qualifications

  • Mindestens 12 Monate Erfahrung in der Unterstützung von Klienten mit Essstörungen und Autismus.
  • Erfahrung in der Durchführung physischer Interventionen innerhalb der letzten zwei Jahre.

Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Shifts: Monday to Friday only
Pay Rates (including holiday pay):
  • Days: £16.81
  • Nights: £18.91
  • Weekends: £21.01

Thornbury Community Services, an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider, is recruiting learning disabilities support workers to utilize their skills and expertise to enable our clients to live safe and fulfilled lives, achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies, and enjoy trips into the community.

We are specifically looking to recruit female learning disabilities support workers in Stroud, Gloucestershire with UK-based care experience to work with a client with eating disorders and autism.

Only individuals with experience in eating disorders and autism care will be considered, as these areas are essential for this role.

Role requirements

We seek learning disabilities support workers with a minimum of 12 months UK-based experience who are passionate, resilient, and highly skilled. Key skills include:

  • Experience and confidence in performing physical interventions (restraints) within the last two years
  • Experience supporting clients with anxiety and depression
  • At least 12 months UK work experience in a relevant support worker role
