Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. in Rotherham is seeking SEND Teachers to fill flexi and long-term roles across local SEND settings. You will work with a specialist SEND consultant to identify ideal placements and schools. Roles include day-to-day and long-term assignments with immediate starts available.

We offer excellent PAYE daily rates, a guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability), CPD opportunities and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience in SEND or transferable experience from mainstream.
• Desire to join a committed SEND team and embrace each school's ethos.
• Ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
• Additional SEND training such as Team Teach, Mappa, Makaton, PECS, moving and handling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inspiring SEND lessons and adapt to learners' needs.
• Collaborate with schools and SEND teams to support learners.
• Contribute to a safe, fun and professional learning environment.

The requirements

To be considered for the position of SEND Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have previous experience within a SEND setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and LSA’s and embrace each school’s unique ethos
• Have an enthusiasm for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
• Additional SEND training such as Team Teach, Mappa, Makaton, PECS, moving and handling is highly desirable
