Job summary

Kisimul Group Limited is seeking a Training Officer to join its Learning and Development team. You will design and deliver in-house training, assess learner competence, and maintain records in the LMS to support high-quality care and education across services.

Collaborating with operational leaders and subject matter experts, you will ensure training stays compliant, current and effective, while supporting staff development and continuing professional development.

Qualifications

• Relevant work-based experience within residential childcare and/or supporting children/adults with complex needs and behaviours of concern.
• Experience in learning and development environments with delivery and evaluation of face-to-face/online training.
• In-depth knowledge of training requirements and standards in Social Care for Adults and Children.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate in-house training sessions deploying a wide variety of training methods and creating engaging materials.
• Undertake learner assessments against required subject knowledge and competency standards.
• Maintain accurate training and assessment records via the learning management system (LMS).
• Collaborate with operational services, quality assurance leads and subject matter experts.
• Ensure training materials stay current with industry standards, regulations and local feedback.
• Maintain a safe and professional training environment and ensure delivery standards are met.
