Job summary

Public Health Scotland in Scotland is seeking a Learning and Development Officer to join the PS&D team and support the delivery of the Learning and Organisational Development Strategy. You will contribute to planning, design, development, delivery and evaluation of learning programmes and projects across core areas such as public health learning, leadership development and mentoring.

Working with colleagues and partner organisations, you will conduct learning needs assessments, deliver learning

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in learning and organisational development.
• Experience in planning, design, delivery and evaluation of learning programmes.
• Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders; strong communication skills.
• Experience or familiarity with digital learning approaches, learning technologies and virtual learning environments would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, deliver and evaluate a range of learning and organisational development programmes and projects.
• Contribute to core programmes such as public health learning and skills development, leadership development and mentoring.
• Conduct learning needs assessments, delivery and evaluation activities; maintain inclusive learning offers and digital learning platforms.
