Job summary

Wells & Co. is seeking a Learning & Development Partner in Bedfordshire to shape and deliver group learning strategy, build practical pathways, and drive capability across the business.

You will champion blended learning, measure impact with data, and collaborate with leaders in the UK and France to develop our people and guest experience. You will lead engagement with external providers, support apprenticeships and onboarding, and empower managers to own colleague development in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent L&D/coaching qualification.
• Experience designing engaging learning solutions in multi-site hospitality or fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of blended learning, training needs analysis, and workplace development.
• Experience supporting apprenticeships, onboarding, career pathways and leadership development.
• Confidence to coach, influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Strong organisational and project management skills with competing priorities.
• Data-led mindset using feedback to improve learning experiences.
• Experience working with external providers or apprenticeship partners.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver Group L&D strategy aligned to people, business goals and values.
• Use insight and feedback to design learning solutions that make a real difference.
• Build learning experiences across the colleague journey from onboarding to leadership development.
• Design blended learning that's practical, accessible and aligned to 70/20/10.
• Create tools and pathways that empower colleagues and managers to grow.
• Ensure inclusive learning opportunities across roles, locations and career stages.
• Collaborate with People Director and leaders to build capability and drive success.
• Coordinate with UK and France teams to align learning and share best practices.
• Lead Hospitality Trainers across the UK and France to keep learning impactful.
• Foster relationships with external partners to keep learning fresh and relevant.
• Measure impact with feedback and data to continually improve development.
