Job summary

Compass Associates is seeking a Learning & Development Partner for UK-wide delivery in children's residential services. The role focuses on designing and delivering practical training, including induction, safeguarding, and behavior support, with some in-person sessions and regional travel.

The successful candidate will train and upskill staff, ensuring readiness to meet high care standards while collaborating with the regional L&D team to continuously improve training effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in residential children's services.
• Knowledge of current legislation and policy trends in residential care.
• Experience with diverse learning approaches and L&D best practices.
• Strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the L&D team to design and deliver training aligned with current standards.
• Ensure all training sessions are well-organised and run smoothly with the L&D Coordinator support.
• Manage assessment and evaluation of training programmes, providing feedback for improvement.
• Stay informed of new legislation and best practice to keep content current and compliant.
• Act as a Subject Lead in a specific area of expertise to promote safe and effective practice.
• Uphold high standards of personal and professional conduct, including health and safety.
