Job summary

Compass Community is seeking a dedicated trainer to deliver learning, skills and training across our residential services, including fostering, residential and education sectors for children and young people. You will develop and maintain training materials and lead the induction of new staff in designated regions.

Qualifications

• Deliver training to residential workers and, on occasion, to other employees.
• Develop and maintain learning and training materials.
• Lead induction of new staff in designated regions.
• Ensure the service aligns with government legislation, regulations and standards.
• Represent Compass Community’s Vision and Values in training delivery.
• Discuss residential regulations, child care law and safeguarding issues.
• Travel nationally and work across multiple offices/venues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training and facilitate learning activities for staff.
• Develop materials and maintain up-to-date training content.
• Lead induction programs for new hires in regions served.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support service quality and compliance.
