Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology is seeking a Learning & Development Intern for a 12-month industrial placement based mainly at the Bicester site, with time at Eynsham. You will join a team delivering L&D projects and supporting early careers activities across two facilities.

You will be an undergraduate student, keen on HR or developing people, with strong communication, organisation, and IT skills. The role offers real growth, cross-site exposure, and CSR involvement.

• You’ll be an undergraduate student completing a 12-month industrial placement or sandwich year as part of your degree.
• You’ll have an interest in Learning & Development, HR or developing people.
• You’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working with a range of people.
• You’ll be organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage and coordinate different tasks.
• You’ll be comfortable using IT and working with data.
• You’ll bring a proactive, team-focused approach and be willing to learn, contribute ideas and take initiative.

• Help create and coordinate effective internal communications across the business.

Learning & Development Intern

In This Role You Will

• Support the delivery of Learning & Development projects and initiatives across the business.
• Help develop and coordinate Early Careers activities at Magnet Technology.

• Help create and coordinate effective internal communications across the business.

All of our interns also take part in our 12-month Intern Development Programme, building skills including communication, teamwork and commercial awareness alongside your role.

You will be based mainly at our Bicester site, with the opportunity to spend time at our 2nd facility in Eynsham as part of your role. You’ll be working with teams at both locations and gaining unique insight into how a large-scale business manages the ramp-up of our new facility while maintaining day-to-day delivery.

You must also have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the internship (Summer 2027 - Summer 2028).
