Job summary

XPS Group is actively seeking a Learning and Development Delivery Consultant to design and deliver practical learning solutions across the UK. The role involves face-to-face delivery, virtual sessions, and digital learning content, with regular travel to XPS offices and client sites to build capability and confidence.

You will work with stakeholders to create measurable learning outcomes, adapt content for varied audiences, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the Group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering engaging face-to-face learning.
• Experience using digital learning tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, learning management systems or similar.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with different levels of stakeholders.
• Experience designing engaging, accessible learning content for face-to-face, virtual, blended or digital formats.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK to deliver learning in XPS offices and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Translating performance and capability needs into clear learning objectives and practical solutions.
• Supporting the wider team with design and delivery of learning solutions for colleagues at all career stages.
• Evaluating programmes to ensure outcomes are met and recommending improvements.
• Adopting continuous improvement to foster a culture of development across learning solutions.
• Developing digital and blended learning, creating or curating e-learning content, and leveraging technology to improve learning.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to a Learning and Development Business Partner, this is a practical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys helping people build confidence and capability. You will design and deliver learning that makes a visible difference to colleagues across XPS, with regular travel across the UK to deliver face-to-face learning in different offices and settings. The role will also help you develop your experience across facilitation, stakeholder engagement and digital learning. The role will be responsible for:

• Designing and delivering engaging, accessible and outcome-focused learning solutions using a range of methods, including face-to-face workshops, virtual sessions, blended learning and digital learning content, in support of the Group learning and development strategy.
• Delivering training confidently and credibly to a range of audiences, including colleagues, line managers and senior stakeholders, adapting style, pace and content to meet different learning needs and group dynamics.
• Ensuring all learning content is accessible, inclusive and engaging for a broad range of learners.
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand performance and capability needs, translate these into clear learning objectives, and create practical learning solutions that are relevant, engaging and measurable.
• Support the wider team with design and delivery of learning solutions to meet the needs of colleagues at all stages of their career.
• Evaluate learning programmes to ensure outcomes are met and make recommendations for improvement.
• Adopt continuous improvement methods to ensure there is a culture of improvement across all learning and development solutions.
• Supporting the development of digital and blended learning across the Group, including creating or curating e-learning content, encouraging learner engagement with digital platforms, and identifying opportunities to use technology to improve the learning experience.

Essential

Your Profile:

• Proven experience of designing and delivering engaging face-to-face learning, including classroom-style workshops, with the confidence to facilitate groups, respond to questions and adapt delivery to different audiences.
• Experience of using digital learning tools or platforms, such as Articulate 360, Vyond, learning management systems or similar, to create, adapt or deliver engaging learning content.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with different levels of stakeholders.
• Experience of designing engaging, interactive and accessible learning content that supports clear learning outcomes and can be delivered through face-to-face, virtual, blended or digital formats.
• Good understanding of learning solutions that are accessible for all learners.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the UK to deliver learning in XPS offices and other locations, with travel expected several times a month and occasional overnight stays required.

Desirable

• Knowledge and experience in the use of AI as a learning tool.
• Experience of creating digital, blended or multimedia learning content using tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, video, animation, AI-enabled learning tools or similar technologies.
• Design and delivery of learning solutions in a Corporate environment.
• Knowledge of financial services including pensions, investment and insurance.
