Job summary

Oxfordshire County Council’s Principal Social Work Team is seeking a highly organised Workforce Development Support Officer to coordinate and deliver a wide range of learning and development activities for Children’s Social Care.

You will support the workforce with high-quality administrative, coordination and project support, working closely with the Workforce Development Manager, trainers and external providers.

Qualifications

• Experience providing effective administrative, coordination or project support in a busy environment.
• Experience in learning and development, training, social care, education or local government or a similar setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential; ability to liaise with colleagues, trainers and external providers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook and Word; comfortable with SharePoint and learning management/bookings systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training programmes and manage course schedules.
• Support learning management systems and monitor attendance.
• Produce reports to evaluate training effectiveness and inform service improvement.
• Contribute to development of learning programmes linked to national reforms.
