Job summary

ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is seeking a Learning Design Manager for a full-time, fixed-term 12-month contract. The role sits within the Qualification Implementation team and offers flexible location options.

You will design engaging digital learning and formative assessments based on solid pedagogical theory, creating storyboards and branded templates using Rise and Storyline, and producing briefs for content developers and external consultants.

Qualifications

• End-to-end development of digital interventions, including concept scoping, content structuring and sequencing.
• Instructional design based on pedagogy and learning theory.
• Storyboarding and branded template creation for learning materials.
• Clear briefs for course developers and collaboration with external consultants.
• Strong writing skills for scripts and speaker notes.
• Knowledge of UX, visual design, video production and gamification.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging learning and formative assessments grounded in pedagogical theory.
• Design storyboards and branded templates for learning materials.
• Produce clear briefs for course developers and work with external consultants to deliver content.
• Create detailed course structures with learning outcomes and a defined design approach.
• Ensure learning is customer-focused, pedagogically sound and aligned with future trends.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce learning content for ACCA LMS.
