Job summary

Capital One Group is seeking a Learning Design Lead in Nottingham to lead a team of Learning Designers and develop a Blended Learning strategy across our frontline teams in Nottingham and India.

You will leverage new tools, identify knowledge gaps, design engaging learning materials, and measure impact through an evaluation framework while collaborating with stakeholders on roadmaps. Hybrid work with office days.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in training, learning and development or instructional design.
• Experience of leading a team of Learning Designers or a similar discipline.
• Experience of implementing and embedding new technologies to enhance the effectiveness of learning.
• Experience of using data from various sources to inform future learning strategies.
• Experience of working with stakeholders to create roadmaps and implementation plans across complex subject matters.
• Extensive knowledge of the learning design process, including defining learning outcomes, storyboarding, scripting, filming plans, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Utilise new and existing tools alongside feedback from operational departments to identify knowledge and skills gaps, proposing effective solutions.

• Create and update online and face to face learning materials.
• Write learner facing materials to a desired reading age, appropriate for learners in the UK and India.
• Produce video and audio learning assets (recording and editing).

We embrace a hybrid approach to work. You'll spend three days a week in the office (Tuesday-Thursday), with Monday and Friday being dedicated work-from-home days.Our offices are designed to inspire and support you.
