The role reports to the Deputy Director for Learning Delivery and sits on the Learning Delivery Senior Leadership Team, driving efficiency, resilience and risk management in learning operations.
Job Title: Learning Delivery Operations Lead
Salary: The starting salary is £62,310, which includes allowances totalling £3,009.
The salary is broken down as £59,301 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £72,254. Plus, a location allowance of £2,009 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join the People Directorate as our Learning Delivery Operations Lead.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Director for Learning Delivery, this is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight, governance and operational effectiveness of learning operations across the organisation. The role ensures learning resources, facilities, systems and support services are aligned to organisational priorities and capable of delivering high-quality operational, professional and leadership development programmes.
As a key member of the Learning Delivery Senior Leadership Team, you will play a central role in ensuring learning delivery remains efficient, resilient, safe and responsive to organisational demand.
The Learning Delivery Operations Lead is responsible for the planning, coordination and optimisation of learning operations across the People Directorate.
You will provide strategic leadership for learning resources, instructor capacity, training facilities, equipment, operational support functions and learning systems, ensuring they are deployed effectively to meet workforce development requirements.
You will lead governance, performance, assurance and continuous improvement activity across Learning Delivery, providing senior leaders with the insight, assurance and strategic advice required to support decision making and organisational planning.
The role also holds responsibility for operational resilience, business continuity, health and safety compliance and the successful delivery of key corporate learning events.
This role does not attract Shift Disturbance Allowance. If you are currently in a shift-working role, SDA should cease upon appointment to this job.
