As a Learning Coach, you will play a vital role in helping children and young people overcome barriers to education, build confidence and achieve their potential. Working closely with Tutors and a wider multidisciplinary team, you will provide personalised support that helps learners engage in education, achieve recognised qualifications and make positive progress towards their future goals.
Based at Swanwick Lodge, part of Hampshire County Council's Secure and Specialist Education Service, you will work within a specialist secure residential home for up to ten children and young people aged 10 to 17 with complex attachment, mental health and behavioural needs. Using a trauma-informed, therapeutic and relationship-based approach, you will support learners to re-engage with education, develop emotional resilience and make meaningful progress towards their next steps.
