North East Museums are looking to appoint an enthusiastic educator to work within the Learning Teams for the Discovery Museum and Tyne & Wear Archives.
This is a fixed-term post, initially for 6 months.
The Learning Co-ordinator will develop, deliver, and evaluate learning programmes focusing on history and science linked to the Museums collections, engaging with both schools and family audiences.
The successful candidates will have a passion for museum learning and a talent for working creatively and imaginatively with a broad audience of visitors. Previous experience of delivering activities to primary and secondary school students and a commitment to learning in a museum setting are essential.
