Prospero Teaching is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant in Bournemouth to support students with behavioural needs in a school setting. The role is full-time with an ASAP start and a long-term, ongoing contract.

You will provide classroom support, supervise breaks and lunchtimes, work one-to-one or in small groups, and keep progress reports. Eligibility includes Right to Work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with references.

Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant qualification preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience in a UK school.
• Experience with children in education or in a similar setting.
• Safeguarding training issued in the last year is desirable but not essential.

Minimum rate of pay: £75

Hours: 08:30am - 3:30pm

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching Assistant qualification (preferable but not essential)
• Previous experience working in a UK School
• Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional, child-related references
