This post is temporary until 10/08/2025.
Please note that as this post is part-time term-time, your salary will be pro-rata to hours and weeks worked. If you start during the normal school session, an adjustment will be made to reduce your first pay because you are not entitled to pay for all holidays. After this adjustment, you will receive a twelfth of your annual salary monthly.
You will receive an email from our payroll department prior to your first pay advising the deduction amount. If you start on the first day of term, this adjustment will not apply.
Learning Assistants work collaboratively as part of the school team or a specialist educational service under the supervision of the Head Teacher or designated manager. They promote effective learning, teaching, personal development, health and well-being, and an atmosphere of achievement.
Learning Assistants support teachers by facilitating the effective use of resources to enhance teaching and learning, and contribute to raising attainment. They assist in supervising and caring for pupils, including those with additional support needs arising from behavioral, learning, sensory, or physical impairments, or family circumstances. They work with pupils individually or in groups, adapting their support as needed.
