Job summary

Bushey Meads School, part of the Bushey St James Trust, is seeking a Learning Assistant to support students with a range of learning needs. You will work closely with teachers and pupils in the classroom, fostering independence, resilience and positive life choices.

We value calm, confident, reliable team players who are passionate about young people and are willing to support welfare and SEN needs. The role is 37 hours per week during term time plus one week for INSET days, with a fixed-term

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join us as a Learning Assistant. Bushey Meads School provides education for the full ability range of students, including students with varying degrees of physical impairment. The post is for 37 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks), term-time + 1 week to include 5 INSET days. In the first instance this is a fixed term post until 31^st December 2027 with the possibility of extending. The salary is APT&C point 5 plus London Fringe, paid pro-rata. The full-time figures are £26,427pa + £1079pa. The actual pro-rata salary is £22,603pa + £922pa.
