About The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Learning & Development Training Lead to join the team at Sunbelt Rentals UK. Reporting into the Head of Learning and Development, you will lead the development of all learning solutions with the L&D team. Supporting the strategic plan to ensure that current and future skill gaps are met by proactively developing both new and existing employees.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Work with stakeholders to establish learning requirements and create solutions accordingly.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
• Develop, implement, and deliver engaging, learner-centric solutions to meet business learning requirements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback.
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to employees to support their professional growth.

You should be comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines while maintaining a professional and approachable manner. You will effectively represent the business to customers and external federations and work well as part of a team.

The Ideal candidate will have the following:

• Proven track record of developing, implementing, and delivering learning solutions.
• Proficient user of Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Clean driving license.
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

• CIPD Level 5 Qualification or equivalent.
• Experience coaching key stakeholders.
