Job summary

A leading education provider in the UK is looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to support the Staff Training Team in delivering quality training programs across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in learning and development, strong facilitation skills, and a CIPD qualification. You will design training content, facilitate workshops, and drive educational initiatives to enhance staff development.

What We Do: The primary goal of this role is to support the Staff Training Team in their mission to deliver high-quality training programs across all GBS locations.

Main Responsibilities

About the Role:

• Designing and delivering a wide range of training content to our stakeholders
• Facilitating face to face and virtual workshops
• Carrying out learning needs analysis where required
• Communicate with key stakeholders in various departments and own processes
• Deliver training sessions with confidence and autonomy
  
  
  

Requirements

About you:

• Demonstratable experience in a similar learning and development role
• Strong communications skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for helping others exceed in their roles
• Experience of training delivery
• Possess a solution-focused and growth mindset
• Experience of content creation and design
• Confident facilitation skills across audiences of varying seniority
  
  
  

Desirable:

• Proven, substantial experience in a learning and development role
• CIPD Level 3 (or above) in Learning & Development. Or willingness to undertake a CIPD qualification , or equivalent (following probation): ILM/CMI, to align with the team’s development pathway
