Learning AND Development Manager - London/Hybrid

Working Location: Hybrid 3 days in Central London office, 2 days Home Working

Salary: £55-65k + Benefits depending on experience

Our client, an IT and Networking Managed Services Company, is looking to hire an L&D Manager within their HR Team. This is a new position designed for someone to create and develop the L&D function from scratch.

The HR team provides centralized learning for over 500 employees, supporting their continuous growth and development. Due to rapid growth both in the UK and internationally, the company seeks a Talent and Learning Manager to implement new talent and learning initiatives.

This role offers the opportunity to design and implement tailored learning programs for all levels, from senior management to entry-level graduates, including face-to-face, 1-2-1, and e-learning formats. You will own the planning, management, and delivery of comprehensive L&D solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Working with stakeholders to assess learning needs and develop strategies.
  2. Designing and delivering leadership and industry-specific training programs.
  3. Managing performance management and training budgets.
  4. Creating and implementing graduate, apprenticeship, and talent management schemes.
  5. Maintaining up-to-date learning materials and managing accreditations.
  6. Driving succession planning and talent development processes.
  7. Collaborating with partners to maximize training resources and industry qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CIPD qualification and experience in developing L&D programs from scratch.
  • Over 5 years of experience in training and development leadership.
  • Proven success in designing graduate and apprenticeship schemes.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of management, leadership, organizational development, and adult learning theories.
  • Experience supporting change initiatives and cultural transformation.
  • Coaching certification is a plus; industry experience is advantageous.
