Purpose:
To manage the Learning & Development of our Manolo Blahnik teams across Head Office, USA regional office, boutiques, and warehouse, both in the UK & internationally. You will support all teams in identifying learning needs and creating, delivering, and sourcing suitable learning solutions to achieve our business goals. You will serve as an ambassador for learning and must have experience delivering training across various topics and levels. The role also involves acting as an external ambassador for Manolo Blahnik, delivering brand-specific training to external partners, ensuring alignment with brand image and messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify learning needs and develop the L&D strategy.
- Design and deliver strategic learning and development programmes.
- Develop and implement D&I learning initiatives.
- Partner with the business to support teams in meeting objectives.
- Analyze capability gaps and recommend solutions.
- Conduct quarterly check-ins with department heads to assess learning needs.
- Deliver engaging training modules with excellent presentation skills.
- Research and secure external speakers for talks, sessions, and workshops.
- Deliver Insights Discovery workshops annually and as needed.
- Manage the learning management system (LMS), creating development pathways.
- Deliver the Manolo Blahnik induction for new starters.
- Update existing training modules as required.
- Partner with the Commercial Partnerships team for partner training.
- Develop internal and third-party Train the Trainer programmes.
- Create new modules like 'Boutique Ceremony'.
- Evaluate training impact and adjust accordingly.
- Stay updated on L&D trends through networking and research.
- Develop e-learning programmes where relevant.
- Forecast and manage the L&D budget aligned with strategic goals.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven L&D experience, preferably in luxury retail.
- Experience with LMS, preferably Cornerstone.
- Insights Discovery accreditation is a plus.
- Podcast production and editing experience (e.g., Clipchamp) is a plus.
- Strong training design and delivery skills.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Commercial awareness and ability to demonstrate ROI.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, independent, and adaptable work style.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent PowerPoint and organizational skills.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
- Passion for representing the brand with professionalism.
- Interest in emerging L&D trends and networking.
- CIPD qualification is advantageous.
