Our client is seeking a dedicated Learning & Development professional with a strong background in sales training to play a key role in shaping their people strategy. This position will focus on empowering the UK sales teams with the skills, knowledge, and development opportunities they need to excel in a competitive international market. Working as part of a wider HR function, this role supports international teams and drives sales capability initiatives aligned with business priorities.

Your Impact

As the Sales Learning & Development Consultant, you will design, deliver, and refine development programmes that enhance sales performance and support international client engagement. You will collaborate with senior leadership to foster a culture of continuous learning and ensure sales professionals have the right skills to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with UK sales leadership to identify capability and onboarding needs, providing targeted training and development support.
  • Act as a strategic link between L&D, Sales, and Business Operations to align upskilling initiatives across regions.
  • Design and implement tailored learning interventions to enhance sales skills, negotiation, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Develop training solutions addressing international sales complexities, aligning with global strategies.
  • Collaborate with UK L&D teams to align learning strategies and share best practices.
  • Measure and evaluate training impact, using data to improve programmes.
  • Support non-sales roles by identifying learning gaps and working with Business Operations L&D.
  • Promote a culture of learning and professional growth across all levels.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, especially in sales training.
  • Ability to improve sales team performance through tailored solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills, aligning L&D with business goals.
  • Analytical skills to measure and enhance training effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of instructional design and sales development strategies.
  • Understanding of cultural nuances for global sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, virtual and in-person.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • UK-based role with flexibility to travel.
