Job summary

The National Lottery Community Fund is seeking two Learning & Development professionals to support our new L&D approach and expand our operational training team. You will be part of a busy L&D team, delivering training and digital learning across the organisation.

This UK-based, hybrid role involves delivering engaging sessions in-person and online, translating briefs into clear deliverables, and contributing to our strategic priorities within the People & Culture Directorate.

Qualifications

  • Experience in learning and development, delivering training both face-to-face and virtually.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid-working context with a flexible, solutions-focused mindset.
  • L&D CIPD qualification or willingness to undertake the qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging training sessions in-person and online.
  • Develop and evaluate learning solutions across the full lifecycle.
  • Support the L&D team to implement the new approach and expand the training function.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for two Learning & Development (L&D) professionals to join our team as we implement our new L&D approach and expand our operational training team. The successful candidates will be part of a busy L&D team, providing functional support to help the organisation deliver its strategic aims and corporate priorities.

Your day-to-day duties will be varied, allowing you to utilise your training experience and digital learning capabilities within a supportive team environment, while contributing to our key deliverables and goals. You will play an integral part in enhancing the learning and development experience across the organisation.

This role is based in the UK and sits within the People & Culture Directorate as part of the Learning & Development team.

  • Experienced in the full lifecycle of learning solutions, including planning, content development, facilitation, and evaluation.

The ideal candidates will bring experience of working within a learning and development environment, delivering training activities both face-to-face and virtually, preferably in a hybrid-working context. They will possess a positive and solutions-focused mindset and as happy working within a team as they are independently. The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach and adaptable to provide the best solutions within scope. This role will have a positive impact to the work of the L&D team and some of our key priorities and deliverables. The role holder will have a L&D CIPD qualification or equivalent, or willing to undertake the qualification.

Our L&D team is based across the UK. This is a hybrid role, involving working from your nearest office location (Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Newcastle) and from home. Frequent travel to other offices and locations across the UK is to be expected.
