Job summary

Grŵp Llandrillo Menai is recruiting a Learner Success Mentor to support full-time learners and maximise attendance, staying on track and achieving learning goals. The role is 25 hours per week, 36 weeks per year, based in Llangefni, with a fixed-term part-time contract. You will work with a team to provide targeted support and guidance to learners to reach their potential.

The post offers progression within the college and access to Local Government Pension Scheme.

Job Purpose

Grŵp Llandrillo Menai is piloting a new role called Learner Success Mentor (LSM). These staff will support our full-time students to maximise their attendance at college, stay on track and achieve their learning goals.

£14,563 - £14,841 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience

Holiday Entitlement

• 28 days leave per annum, rising to 32 days after 5 full holiday years’ continuous service (01 September to 31 August).
• All normally observed public holidays, determined annually.
• Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.
• Part Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above.
• Term Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above paid as part of annual salary.
