Job summary

Full-time | Permanent | £29,014 - £32,668 per annum

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We’re looking for a confident and experienced Learner Services Manager to lead safeguarding, SEND, ALS, exams, and wellbeing provision at Access Sport College.

About The Role

As LSM, you’ll take the lead on:

  • Safeguarding, SEND and pastoral support
  • Managing high-needs funding and EHCP reviews
  • Planning and timetabling learning support
  • Delivering in-class support and coordinating ALS provision
  • Acting as Exams Officer (with a Deputy for support)

You’ll work closely with local authorities, multi-agency teams and internal colleagues to ensure effective support is in place for all learners. You’ll also support inductions, oversee training on support processes, and ensure learning progress is well-documented.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong FE sector experience, especially with safeguarding and ‘at risk’ learners
  • Proven ability to manage teams and support services
  • Knowledge of EHCPs, EAA evidence, and high-needs funding
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A degree or equivalent, plus English & Maths at Level 2 or above
