Job summary

Catch22 College in Bishop Auckland is seeking a Recruitment and Progression Officer to recruit learners onto the study programme and support them through, including sourcing local work placements. You will build strong links with local authorities, NEET teams, schools and employers to create opportunities and ensure learners are matched to the right placements.

The role also involves monthly progress reviews, collaboration with the college team to tailor individual learner journeys, and travel

Qualifications

• At least a Level 2 Qualification in English and Maths.
• Full driving licence and car for work purposes.
• Experience in education or vocational training setting or understanding the sector.
• Good practical knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to engage, inspire and motivate young people to be at their best.
• Strong communication and engagement skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Recruit learners onto the study programme and meet target numbers.
• Provide monthly progress reviews and plan learner journeys.
• Develop links with local authorities, NEET teams, schools, colleges and employers.
• Arrange and support work placements with local partners.
• Create Individual Learner Plans (ILPs) and monitor learner progress.
