Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd. is seeking a Learner Engagement Officer to drive engagement and enrolments for adult learning programmes in Lincoln. You will build partnerships with community groups and employers, promoting opportunities and guiding potential learners through information and advice sessions.

The role focuses on meeting recruitment targets, maintaining smooth referral processes, and collaborating with tutors and the Marketing team to maximise programme uptake.

Qualifications

• Level 2 IAG or equivalent qualification.
• GCSE English, Maths and ICT at grade A*-C or equivalent.
• Full driving licence.
• Strong IT skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with external stakeholders and networks to support growth of adult learning programmes.
• Identify and promote suitable Adult Learning programmes and SWAPs to learners and referral sources.
• Conduct information, advice and guidance sessions to inform learners about opportunities.
• Engage with potential learners, employers and community groups with accurate information.
• Maintain detailed learner referral information and coordinate with tutors and management.
• Respond promptly to referrals and assist applicants.
• Assess learner needs and provide tailored information and support for learning journeys.
• Attend education and careers events to promote learning programmes.
• Ensure recruitment, enrolment and related documentation complies with funding requirements.
• Meet monthly targets for starts, placements and progression.
• Develop learner engagement strategies to boost participation.
• Collect learner feedback for programme improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote programmes.
